The Rio Way

Rio-Vitalise do not only sell beneficial health products, but we also promote the lifestyle to go with it. We believe that waking up early and embracing the day is something everyone should be doing.

By introducing fitness/health class’s into our local community, which have all been very popular and successful, from combat training to yoga classes, we are encouraging people to live the Rio way.

HIIT classes

HIIT training stands for High Intensity Interval Training – a form of cardiovascular exercise. HIIT training can be done over a shorter period of time compared to other exercises like going for a jog. You push your body to your physical limit, resulting in a significant heart rate increase, also increasing how much fat your body is burning. HIIT classes are good for busy people who have little time to work out due to work, children, or any other commitments they may have.

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing. Yoga has been shown to decrease stress levels, improve balance and help with aches and pains. By correctly breathing and stretching your muscles to their limits, in a controlled way, you are also helping to improve your blood circulation.

Self Defence

Self defence training is a great way to improve your strength and confidence. I mean what else is more empowering then learning how to properly defend yourself if you find yourself in a venerable situation. Being taught how to defend yourself, in the correct manor and with self control, is something that we should all know how to do.

Boxing is a sport that pushes you to both your mental and physical limits. It can improve confidence, fitness and co-ordination all in one work out. Whilst most people believe boxing is all about upper body and arm strength, the foot work and core body strength is just as important. It is an all over body work out that everyone can get involved in.

Dance fitness

There is always a feel good factor to dancing. Whether it’s down to the funky vibrations of the music, or the crazy dance moves to the rhythm. Dancing boosts your heart rate, increases your balance and strength, whilst releasing positive chemicals into your body. Including a dance routine into fitness is a great way to get fit and to feel good.
